Creativity And Personality

I’m Sam.

25 Year Old Film Student Based In Salisbury

My photography connects me to the world and the wider communities around me. It often allows me to meet new people and see new places. Community is at the heart of my work. I want to collaborate with others and have new experiences that help me develop as a person and a creative.

My creativity is very personal to me. Every photo, video, edit etc has a bit of who I am embedded within it. My life and my experiences have shaped my unique style of creativity which I am very proud of. My time living in different areas and mixing with different cultures has all played a part in who I am and where I am now.

I started life in the Lake District in Cumbria and spend the majority of my early life being shaped by the history and culture of the north of England. I then began moving down South, first to Oxfordshire, then Dorset where I spent my time in secondary education until the age of 18. After doing some time at Salisbury College studying film I spent a period of time traveling to and briefly living in Brighton which helped me develop a more outgoing attitude to life. After coming back from Brighton I was given the opportunity to decide what the next stage for my life was. I decided to go back to college and recommit myself to the creative pathway, and I haven’t looked back since!

If you want to know more about me, here’s a brief interview where I explain my beginnings and my values.
