The Beginning Of My Journey

As a young creative, the task that lays before me is to turn my dream into my reality. I must take my potential like any raw material and refine it to the point of perfection. With any goal the first step is to define the goal, and then to outline the steps in between where I am now and where I want to be and take said steps.

My journey so far has been about reconnecting with my creative energy. I rediscovered my passion for photography and decided that my creativity with a camera would be the way I interact with the world. I went back to a level 3 TV and Film course that I had dropped out of in the first year when I was 18 and was taught by the same teacher who attempted the task once before. On that course I travelled to Berlin and took a stills camera with me. After being in a new place with a camera and a sense of interest for my environment, I realised how much I’d enjoyed feeling that way. I liked interacting with life as an observer and being aware of all the independent lives unfolding around me.
