Getting A Job

So I understood what I enjoyed about cameras and what I enjoyed about film. The two jobs that I’d decided on pursuing became clear in this, which is a freelance cinematographer and a freelance photographer. The balance as to which one will be my primary source of income is unclear to me now, but this is a decision I reserve the right to make when I have more information about which I enjoy more. I have plenty of experience of me enjoying photography as I am in charge of what photography jobs I take and who I work with, however who I work with in film is currently dictated by my educational establishment. A lot of what I enjoy about my creative process is collaborating with others who share the same passion and drive, and in film I am yet to be in a position to choose who I work with. This can serve as a block to my enjoyment of the experience, and so at this moment in time I enjoy photography more. But I am willing to acknowledge that this is only a temporary problem and should not be used as a reason to write of the potential enjoyment I would get in a film setting.
